rogue's ramblings

The pie auction is always a wonderful thing! There are lots of different kinds, some that are favorites year after year, some with stories behind them. And this year, the 32 or so pies brought in almost $2500 for the church! And of course, Bill bought back the cheesecake/golden raspberry one that Sue had made (to die for!) and the chocolate French silk that one of her co-workers made (she takes 1st at the Iowa State Fair in lots of baking/cooking things) and now I'm starting the diet all over.

I mean, really, PIE!
