rogue's ramblings

So, today I went and got my crown put back on the tooth that had the root canal. And it feels weird. But at least now I have it back and they could put the old crown on and not have to get a new one which would have cost more. But I swear that the insurance pays less and less as I go along...

And I'm reading Sarah Rees Brennan's "The Demon's Covenant" and if you haven't read either of her books... SHAME ON YOU! They are wonderful. And marvelous. And leads me the one of the best lines EVER. And I quote.

"'Surprise zombies,' Jamie said faintly. 'Fantastic.'

'Not really a party until someone brings the surprise zombies,' said Nick, and charged them."

Is that not just the best line ever! Both of her books are really really good and now I can't wait until next May when the third book comes out.

We have Lightning Bugs here! Since last Wed.! It's been cool and rainy and we didn't think that it would be time for them, but here they are, flickering around the yard! It's really becoming summer, or at least late spring!

Teeth. Sigh. This morning I got up and there is a big knot on my jawline, and this time I don't think that it's my sinuses. No, this time, it's got to be the tooth that capped. So, tomorrow, I'm calling the dentist and asking if she could look at it before I go to work. I know that I'm going to end up on antibiotics and maybe a root canal. Bleh.
