So yesterday I was very very bad.

I need a new tower. This one is 2 years old with me and I'm not sure how old it was when I bought it. And it only has 2g memory. And isn't that great for games.

I had $75 in credit from Dell...

Yes, I bought a new tower. With lots of bells and whistles. Because, you know, I didn't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. I'm perfectly happy with the new stuff I already have.

So, at the end of the month, I'll be slightly poor but have a shiney!

So, sometime soon, the daughter is supposed to be in country. Granted, she'll be in CA, but that's a lot closer than Okinawa. And of course, she hasn't either had time or been too lazy to let us know exactly when she'll be at Pendleton. Dippy girl.

And, just because one has lots of credit that can be used, is not a reason to buy a new tower. Even though the old one is starting to make funny noises. And there is a perfectly good laptop upstairs. But really, *pretty* *shiny* tower. With more memory. And power. And... just everything.

Must not buy.

I have been very bad (or good, depending on how you look at it) and bought a laptop for my Mom. Her computer is older than God, well, maybe not that old, but it's at least... I'm thinking... at least 10 years old, maybe little older. So, yes, it's slower than mud, doesn't work really well and it's in the basement of their house in WI and it's COLD down there.

So, Dell had a deal, and if I pay it off in 6 mons, no interest. And after the first of the year, that'll be easy to do. She doesn't need much but it would be nice if she could get on and use Skype to talk to Becca. And she used to use the one in the basement more, but it's so slow...

All I need is one more toy for the grandkid, and my Christmas shopping is done. And it was actually mostly done back in Sept, except for the toy... And it gives me just a little more time to buy for my co-workers kids...

And I'm having it sent to her directly, won't she be surprised!

Ummm, no new car (yet) but I was really really bad... I bought a laptop... Dell was having a sale, I can pay it off in nine months and pay no interest (actually, I'll have it paid off by the end of summer!) and I really really really wanted something I could take with me... and now I do.

The husband is sooo going to freak when it comes... guess he should have bought the last car we looked at...

Do you know how hard it is to repost all the different people I read/watch?

Of course, it didn't help that I had to get the son to finish putting the computer together and then had to run the new internet explorer so that I could actually get online...

And I still have to do some of the maintenance stuff, like AVG and such...

Good thing I don't work until Wed, it's going to take that long just to get it together...

But at least it's working!

I has a new computer!

'Course, now I have to download everything on the old one to the new one and then get it all set up on my desk. And right now it is not cooperating with the daughter's monitor...

And I hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Day weekend, I finally get two days off and I'm going to enjoy both of them!

When the husband figures out what I've done, he's going to flip out!

One of the girls I work with has a bf that's in the navy and going overseas (Iraq, of course) and he's a gamer and has a gamer computer that he built from scratch and of course everyone can see where this is going...

Yes! I have bought a new computer! 2gb of ram and a high end graphics card! For a measily $500!

Now I need to sell this one so that I don't have *3* bloody computers sitting around the house!

Or sell the daughter's, since she (probably) won't be needing it again (maybe).

And when he found out that I didn't even have 1g, he about died! Laughing, of course!

Now all I have to do is pay for it...
