And doing a damn fine job! The guys we see every year have gotten 6 so far, 2 bucks and 4 does (at last count). And considering how many deer are running around this part of the country, they could get some more and not even make a dent in the population.

And yes, I know some people get all freaked out and hysterical, but if the same disease that's in WI comes down here, we'll be killing them and burning the bodies cause they'll be useless for anything. And that would be a shame.

And slowly but surely, the boy is getting moved out of the house. They are still cleaning out Amber's house, but I guess it's all coming along nicely. We'll have to go over next week and pick up a bunch of furniture to take to the dump, it's been in the garage and isn't worth anything. Then they'll be able to get her car in it. And he's putting applications in, hopefully he'll find a job by the time he's off of leave. Can only hope.

So, the tree is up and decorated, the eggs are cooked and ready to be made into deviled eggs, the brownies are done and the fudge topping is on them, and I've vacuumed and dusted. Now I'm waiting for the son and granddaughter to show up. And later I'll do my cheesy potatoes. Then it'll be off to the deer hunters camp for a fish fry.

Haven't done this much in a long time!

And it's cold! But sunny, so we have that at least... hope the guys got lots of deer, there are way too many around here...

Not a fish fry this year, Mike grilled STEAK! Wonderful juicy tender steak! It was wonderful and I'm paying for it today, the tummy didn't like it. Stupid stomach anyway. And as of last night, still no deer, hope they got some today...
