rogue's ramblings

So, another day with the granddaughter! And a haircut! Good thing, otherwise I would have been cutting on my bangs and the last time I did that, Jo really yelled at me.

Chris had "things" to do today since he goes back to Iraq on Sunday. Tomorrow he takes Allie back down to Winchester and they're going to St Louis to the zoo or Six Flags. I'd do the zoo, I'm not big on rides. Then Fri. they have something planned (no, I don't remember) and he'll come back up here on Sat. to finish packing and all that.

His "things" he had to do? Finalize all the divorce stuff. In another month, it'll all be said and done with. I'm sad for Allie, but for a change, Wendi isn't running Chris down and she knows that both of her parents love her. They both need to move on, they just simply are not happy together and Wendi is never going to want to move away from her mother and extended family. I would not be happy living like that, but that's why they make chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

Chris is planning on going back into the Army Reserve and as a Sgt he has a better shot at a decent job. So, we shall see what happens in four months or so when they come back to the states.

On the other hand, my stress levels are now back through the roof. I really could use some downtime with nothing going on at all.

So, I'm going to finish kracken's book and go to bed a little early.
