It'll be fun, they said.
Apr. 5th, 2018 07:11 pmOn this 100th day of Jan (no, I don't care what the calendar says, it's supposed to snow AGAIN, so it must still be Jan!), the daughter and I ran around the town until her car got all of it's recall fixes done.
Some of it was fun, I had never eaten at Pizza Ranch, and other than the blaring music (don't care what they're espousing, if I can't understand what you're saying, it's just noise) but the fried chicken was very good, plus they have sweet green tea!
And not only did they fix all the issues with the car, they gave it a bath! We live in the country and our driveway is muddy this time of year, so it was a mess! It looks much better now.
But...
Yesterday, the husband and I both had drs appointments. They were ok. Just check-ups. But. We went home and happened to look over at the daughter's car and I made the comment of 'Is her sticker out of date?' It wasn't (yet) but the thing is, I then looked at my sticker and it said... 6/17.
I have been driving all over this state, and Iowa, and Wisconsin, plus part of the time the husband was driving the car all over the state, and when the daughter's car wasn't working, she was driving the car!
So, yes, she and I boogied right down to the closest drivers facility (the husband was all, just wait til tomorrow when you go to town and get one, when now I KNOW the sticker has expired! Ticket before I even get out of the drive!) and we both get our stickers. The woman who waited on me, I'm sure, waited until I was out of the building to laugh at me!
But really, I ran for 10 months on an outdated sticker.
I have no more words. Ever.
