Iowa was nice!
Sep. 28th, 2011 10:03 amAnd that was a wonderful weekend! It was fairly warm, sunny for the most part and I got to go the cabin twice. The husband went fishing and we went to the gun show and just relaxed the entire time.
I haven't been over to see Sue and Bill for two years, it was really good to see them. Wish I could retire, it would be nice to see them more often.
Sue startled the hell out of us, she's taking the gun safety class and wants to buy her own handgun, the cabin is in an area that has cougars. So, we went to the gun show with her and she looked and held and compared different guns. We didn't let her buy anything, told her she had to fire different ones so she could see how each handled.
But all good things must come to an end, and back to IL we came, and it's been raining here all weekend and I guess there's still a chance today later. Not that we didn't need it, but now that the farmers are trying to get crop out, they would like it to hold off for awhile.
And then I had to work two 2-11's and I'll end the week with a 9-6 and another 2-11. Bleh.
