Oct. 17th, 2008 09:44 amSo, my first week at the new store is over! And I survived... ok, it was easy. They aren't even half as busy as Macomb and have a ton of full-time people so half the time, you're tripping over each other, but that means that you actually get out at a decent time every night. And my one 8-5 that I had, I switched with M for a 2-11... I just don't do early mornings! Last night three of us went and helped the Bakery person close since she was so far behind. I did dishes and wiped down tables, A swept the floor and wiped down counters, P did all the stuff we knew nothing about... At least it kept me busy for the last half hour of my shift.
And now it's cold. I really am not ready for winter, I'm not even ready for fall! So, today and tomorrow I have to do all the running around and get the things that we need to finish winterizing... including a thermal coupler for the furnace. Wonderful.
So today is catch-up day, do all the things that I didn't do this week, including paying for my book from Sunny...
