Two Days Off
Jul. 2nd, 2008 05:23 pmYes! I had two days off in a row! But the really funny thing is...
Ok, the last post dealt with the fact that I had taken the second break, and yes, even with cutting time hither and yon, I still ended up with 1.14 hrs of overtime. Tough.
This week we have the wonderful people from Cornerstone (a yrly Christian get-together near here) and so it's busier than normal.
So, I'm closing on Mon and we're looking at the schedule for the next two days and D is moaning because there is like no one coming in! *snickers*
It gets better.
I look at the schedule, look at her and say, "Today's the 30th. Tomorrow's the first." She agrees. I look at her again and say, "It's Cornerstone and the first." Now everyone is looking at me.
And I say, "I'm not working tomorrow or Wed., and tomorrow is the first and Cornerstone!"
And everyone has hysterics, 'cause it's LINK CARD DAY and CORNERSTONE! AT THE SAME TIME!
I am so evil.
