Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I now am the proud owner of a brand new put together desk!

And it's light colored fake wood (come on, who can afford the real stuff anymore, right?) that I've slowly but surely been replacing all the dark fake wood stuff with.

But really, it's very nice, especially since my husband got it out of the box and put it together and then helped take apart the old one and put this one in its place. It's slightly longer but not as bulky and lighter, did I meantion that? I really like it. Just have to get used to it, things are in different places and I really don't have a place to put the copier yet, but...

I have a new desk!!!

(That makes a new entertainment center; new hamper, storage unit and cabinet in the bathroom; I'm on a roll here, folks! And yes, all in light fake wood! Seasonal affected disorder is nothing to sneeze at, you know! Light is so much better.)

And the sun has shifted around now so that the shade from our one tree that I can see from where I'm sitting, is now on the road.

Spring is maybe actually going to make it here... sometime...
