Happy Yule!
And, of course, Happy Winter Solstice.
We went to WI this past weekend for the parent's 60th wedding anniversary party and it was really nice. The son, granddaughter and his new SO went, along with a bunch of relatives that I didn't really expect to see. All in all, a good time was had by all.
It was slightly embarrassing to come in the door where we were holding it and I was laughing and someone says, "That has to be Robin, I'd know that laugh anywhere!" You have to understand, I hadn't seen the Fells since we lived in West Allis, WI, back when I was in 4th grade. And my laugh hasn't changed? Everyone at work thought that was the funniest thing ever! I'm still a little freaked out about it.
It's going to be a quiet Christmas this year, Chris only has Allie the day before and is going to see if he can get her for next Wed (my next day off, other than Christmas itself). Then we can do their presents. If I had had Sat off, or at least part of it, we could have done Christmas then. Oh well.
Other than that, we just keep going along. At least it isn't snowing.
