Happy Mother's Day to me
So, the son is doing well at school (96.something as a grade ave. so far! Absolutely amazing! And best present ever!)
The daughter finally made it to CA and is settling in. The first thing she did was buy a phone so that she could talk to everyone back here. 'Course, the second thing she did was upset her aged (two syllables, please) parents when she told them, 'Oh yeah, going to Afghanistan in Aug for about 7 mons.'

Now granted, she (and the friend currently at school for the same thing she's doing -- hub communications) will not be on the front lines, and probably not anywhere near anything dangerous, the joys of being the one that keeps the info flowing, but still.
So this morning, while the husband was off shooting at a match (in the wind and cold, no thank you), I sat and watched tv and sniffled and teared slowly. Could hardly even talk to my own mother to wish her hmd, for heaven's sakes.
I'm going back to taking 2 D3 tablets, it's supposed to be helpful for depression. And right now, I need all the help I can get.
