It's our turn to have crappy weather.
Got to work at 9, found out that a bunch of people called in (they worked 6-3) and that if you went home early, it would be unexcused! Come on! At least I made it into work and worked for awhile.
I had called the husband and asked how it was at our place and at that time, everything was fine. It wasn't an hour later and he called and said, 'Visibility just dropped. You're done. Come home.'
You have to understand, he NEVER does this. Usually, he's all, come home when you can.
But now, I'm sitting in my house, watching straight-line winds whip snow straight across my windows.
Really glad I came home when I did.
