So sick!
So, having survived the move to a different store (more on that later), and bought a new toy (ipod!), I now have the stomach flu and the store is cutting everyone's hours because of course it's the holiday season and we don't need to be working, no one's shopping... sigh...
Yes, I did survive and I keep hearing about how busy this place is and have yet to see any of it. Their idea of busy is my idea of 'Well, that was a nice rush (of 4 customers). When's the rest of it?' And this store posts double digits on all of it's stats... just not sure where it's all coming from. I worked Sun and pulling into the lot I thought, 'My god, there are more associates than customers!' And they still insist that they are busy all the time! And I'm still getting used to the new people I'm meeting, there is a whole different feel to this place, Macomb was very definitely a college store and this is not. Oh, there are a few college kids, but not like down there. And a lot more preg. women (married and not) then the other. And I'm still getting all the stories from everyone. It is kind of entertaining to hear things about where I live from a different viewpoint.
And yes, with my saved back money, I bought the ipod and then I bought another game for the DS Light. And today I put 3 episodes of Ghost Hunters on the ipod, need something to watch when traveling, and tomorrow I'm going to look at a few other things to put on it. Right now, everything is charging due to the fact that I'm sick and have played Jewel Quest all morning and this evening until the DS died.
And I owe Sunny money...
