Rain

Ah, yes, rain. And more rain. And yet still more rain.

Did I say something about rain?

Almost 2" worth so far, and it's supposed to rain some more today. But at least it's my day off and I'm getting my hair cut and maybe, just maybe, I'll finish off the 1x2 that I started the other day and get it posted!

And if the daughter reads this, have you gotten your box and what do you want in the next one? More T Brooks?

And after getting my son and his family settled in Avon, now he's going with his National Guard unit down to Arkansas for three weeks... *sigh* At least I'll get to see Wendi and Allie more often. And after he gets home from there, he has more school (medic stuff) down in Texas. Hopefully while in AK he can get everything lined up and get promoted so that they're getting a little more money...

I just read through the last bunch of posts and I find that there is a disturbing re-occurrence of the wailing about wanting a new job.

I hadn't really noticed it before.

Probably 'cause I'm brain dead.

But now my hair is short and I'm going to go out and see what's in the garage that could go to the yard sales and so get rid of more junk that I really don't need, plus the thousands of pb books up in the north room (don't faint, Bec!), It's kind of nice to be getting rid of all of the extra stuff I haven't used in years. Plus the extra cash can't hurt. Just as long as I don't have to run the things...

But! I still really want a new job...
